Potentilla rupestris L.


Distribution
Potentilla rupestris is a European species growing in moderately dry forests, forest margins and drier meadows. Our plants are from Lauchengrund at Gimritz (Saxony-Anhalt).

Biology and growth
The plants are summer-green perennials and forms pleiocorms. Seed set is sufficient.

Conservation
Seeds are sown in April until June in cold frames. We use poor garden soil for growing the plants after germination. Later they are cultivated in pots with a diameter of 10 cm. The soil is garden soil with loam and a lot of sand. Pots are kept not too wet.
