Scutellaria hastifolia L.


Distribution
Scutellaria hastifolia is a Western Eurasian species that occurs in moist to wet meadows in the valleys of the large rivers. The plants appeared in the Schutzgarten.

Biology and growth
The species is a summer green perennial that has stolons. Seeds were not observed at the garden, but the species is considered to propagate by seeds that stick on birds and water fowl.

Conservation
Plants are propagated by stolons.

Plants are at the Kapenmühle.
