Distribution
Senecio sarracenicus is a Eastern European-Western Siberian species that has its
western distribution
boundary in Germany. The plants are from Dessau-Waldersee.
Biology and growth
The species is a summer green perennial having long stolons.
Conservation
Seeds are produced in high quantity that germinate good. Rhizoms were also used for propagation.
Places of conservation
Plants are at the Kapenmühle. The species was successfully re-introduced at its original place of origin.
